There is given the estimation of the combined effect of some meteorological factors (air temperature, relative humidity and wind speed) on heat-sensitivity of a human at definite time in different seasons in Odessa region by means of bioclimatic indices.
In the work it is generalized the modern research and practical approaches in sphere of implementation of the Conventions on Protection of the Black Sea Against Pollution in context of the European Water Directive.
For providing strategy of ecologically safe development of the economic systems, modern achievements of science and technology at the elaboration of main trends of environmental activity should be used. Initial and boundary conditions should be taken into consideration at the elaboration of the guidance’s and methodological recommendations of the development. In the paper the question of influence of the North Atlantic oscillation (NOA) changes on total ozone amount (TOA) distribution spatial-temporal variability over North Atlantics is viewed. The conceptional model of NOA and TOA dynamics interconnection over North-Atlantic region is suggested.
The approbating of an atmospheric boundary layer one-dimensional numerical model to reproduce its thermodynamic structure over land at some ones of twenty four hours, was made. The model equations system, firstly, with different closuring orders, secondly, with the different closuring methods, was closured. There are such models amongst the firstorder ones, in which the diagnostic equations of the turbulent coefficients from higher-order scheme [1], in which it was demanded to use the kinetic turbulent energy of the vertical velocity fluctuations on the condition, that the stable boundary layer was, were received. Twelve experiments were conducted in all. The detail analysis of the qualitative and quantitative agreement between the model results and fact data, was made.
The partial time derivatives from some meteorological parameters can be used for atmospheric energy transfers estimations. One way to calculate partial time derivatives fields based on advection obtained in semi-Lagrangian approach. In this article the principle of computation algorithm is shown, an example using partial time derivatives for energy transfers analysis grounds on products of WRF model is given, conclusions about influence initial data time resolution on results is obtained.
Forecast verification of air temperature conditions in Ukraine during 2001-2009 is analysed. The data from outputs of GFDL’s model forced by the A2, A1B, and B1 emission scenarios are compared with observed data for these years. It is shown that for all scenarios the model provides most high-quality outcomes in comparison with observed temperature for Southern Ukraine.
The processes of blocking by the off spurs of Asiatic anticyclones in a winter period are examined. The calculations of indexes of blocking in a period with intensive development of east processes are resulted.
The evaluation of main features of urban heat island over Odessa is performed. The object of study is the data of surface temperature from 15 stations, while 9 stations locate within the city boundaries. The length rows is 45 months. The general peculiarities of seasonal and spatial temperature distributions are described in terms of monthly averaged surface temperature maps over the investigation period.

Рассмотрены особенности формирования кинематической структуры речного потока при наличии водной растительности и неровностей дна, разработаны рекомендации относительно определения гидравлического сопротивления в зависимости от гидравлических и морфологических параметров.
In the article it is being proved and implemented the alternative calculation method for the normalizing of the characteristics of the maximal river runoff of rain flood of the warm period of the year by the example of Zacarpathia rivers.
The objective of the paper is to study the main features of the circulation in southeastern Indian Ocean. For this purpose the charts of geostrophic currents were constructed. Charts demonstrate the south flow along western Australia coast. This stream was discovered by another authors using satellite-tracked drifting buoy observations, bathythermograph data and called Leeuwin Current. Using the constructed charts the south-flow transport was calculated which gradually increase southwards: 15°s.l. – 5.0; 20° – 4.8; 25° – 6.0; 30° – 7.1; 35° – 7.2 Sv (10^6 m^3/s)
the North Atlantic Oscillation and El-Nino – Southern Oscillation showed that their joint influence is responsible for more than 50% of dispersion of parameters of cyclones in winter and spring. Using the method of composites, the climatic shift in the middle of 1970s resulting from the Pacific Decadal Oscillation phase change was shown in the variability of cyclonic activity and resulting Black Sea river flows.

Using the complex of the wave-wind circulation model and the bottom fraction transport model, the nearshore circulation of send on the beach zone of Odessa city was calculated.
Different methods of describing of the local structure of complex many-particle systems which based on conception of the translational and orientational order parameters are developed. The presence of anisotropic fluid phase which is the intermediate between states with short–range and long-range order is discovered. Inner-shell model for the description of the local structure of granular materials has been proposed.
Methods of statistical physics (especially Landau-Ginsburg theory) has been applied for the description of densification of the systems which consist on the hard spheres governed by the Carnakhan-Starling equation of states. In case of one-dimensional systems a rigorous solution of L-G model have been obtained. We study the influence of the initial conditions on character of relaxation of the relevant order parameter in the vicinity of quasistationary states. Obtained results are compared with a relevant physical experiments.

The article in question is an attempt to carry out integrated estimation of quality of the environment-forming components (atmospheric air, natural waters, soil cover, geological environment) of the Odessa agglomeration on the basis of available cartographic material and data on concentration of pollutants followed by determination of integrated indices of ecological situation.

The longperiods dynamic pattern of growth of general dry biomass of agricultural cultures is offered, in a basis which the equalization of logistic curve, based on supposition about the swaying processes of biological time of plants in ontogenesis, lies to. The period of vibrations of biological time and amplitude of vibrations are wholly and fully determined by tension of factors of external environment. Research of model is conducted and positive estimation of its adequacy is got to the real object of researches. It is accounted for the fact of parabolic dependence of growth of biomass from the state of tension of factors of external environment. Differential equalization of vibrations of biological time in ontogenesis of plants is given.

Severe cases for cold fronts passing trough the territory of Ukraine during cold season 2008-2009 are examined. General estimation of WRF-ARW v2.2.1 model biases from in-situ observation is obtained. Synoptic interpretation for spatial and temporal distributions of errors is proposed.
Using statistical analysis of observables from the 38 stations for the second half of 20-th century, the spatiotemporal features for changes of climatic fields have been determined for surface temperature and precipitation at left-bank Ukraine.
The basic features of statistical structure of the fields of the 100 and 50 gPa izobaric surfaces in the South hemisphere are exposed. The main components of these fields are received. The features of temporal changeability of large-scale component of circulation processes in atmosphere in the second half of the ХХ century are shown. The certain statistical characteristics in the time series of the main components have studied.
Using the special observed data archive, received during the First Global Whether Experiment (1978-1979), the verification of the well-known longwave radiation parameterizations was made. The quantitative agreement value between the calculated and fact magnitudes (the correlation and difference coefficient, the repeatability curves) was received.

On the basis of the correlation dimension method, in particular, the Grassberger-Procaccia algorithm it is carried out an analysis of the temporal raws of dust concentrations on two points of the Odessa city and calculated the correlation dimension spectrum. It has been proven availability of the chaos. The received data are agreed with the corresponding data on the Lyapunov dimension spectrum, Kalane-York dimension and Kolmogorov entropy.
In what follows we generalize the free volume kinetic model for quasi bi-component system which consist on the domains of two types with a different limits of local compaction. Such a mean-field model approach allow us to outline the dispersive kinetics of weakly perturbed granular materials.
The Kirkwood – Buff scenario for studying of compressibility is applied for the investigation of excess compressibility of binary mixture. Constitutive relations between the compressibility of mixture and the partial compressibilities has been obtained. The uncertainty of the KB approach in case of studying of the excess compressibility is outlined. Along the corrected data the parameterization of relevant experimental data has been done. A statistical interpretation of the Redlich – Kister approach is carried out along the line of pure phenomenological analysis.
The object of the paper is the processes of polarized light waves propagation in photonic crystal structures with regularly arranged elements, in particular in those with space periodicity. The polarization characteristics of photonic-crystal-based waveguides to control the light flow have been studied, and an agreement with an experiment has been obtained. The results obtained in this work can be implemented to study the interaction of waves with two-dimensional photonic crystals, which in turn will serve for developing waveguide contours with enhanced level of optical integration.
