Abstract

We study a spat–iotemporal variability for the features of droughts at the time scales 12, 24 months during 1951–1980 and 1981-2010 for Ukraine. It was found that the maximum number of long and severe droughts was registered in the period of global warming. It is also found a strong relationship between temporal variability of drought and an average annual flow of the Southern Bug River during 1951–2010.
